The HALF-SKED - in International Orange

The Half-Sked was designed to assist in extricating patients through narrow passages where some bending of the patient is required. Half-Sked is half the length of the standard Sked and the same width.

This short length allows the patient to bend at the hips, permitting greater flexibility to corners in the most demanding of tight spaces. It has two (2) attached cross straps to secure the upper body and two (2) groin straps to prevent downward movement.

Not to be used as a hoisting or immobilization device. Weight 7 lbs. (3.2kg).
